Jenny Steketee
Jenny has been on skates since she could walk.  Her mother was an competitive artistic skater when she was younger so Jenny had skates on her feet at the young age of three.  It was soon apparent that all Jenny wanted to do was go fast.  So they bought her some speed skates and let her do just that.  She skated her first competitive year in 1994 winning multiple State & Great Lakes Regional championships.  She went on to win a Bronze medal at the US National Championships.  As a teenager she only raced periodically, due to other interests, but took up coaching in 2000.  Since then she has coached over 15 National Champions, many more US National Medalists and has assisted in coaching multiple World Champions.  In 2007 she got back into racing and has won 3 National championships since then along with qualifying for the US World Team in 2011.  At the 2011 World championships she finished 27th in the 10K points race on the road and competed on the Women's Relay team on the road.
